I’m Pushing The Red Button, Says N.Korea!

Nowadays when you turn the news off for 24 hours or so, and come back World War III is starting. Apparently!?  The last few years North Korea have obviously been flexing its muscle, with their finger on the BIG RED BUTTON, saying “Just Try Me!! We are ready and waiting!” But they seemed to have step it up a notch in the last few days.

Whether you have your own opinion on the matter, the testing & firing of missiles hasn’t gone down well with the U.S. and other surrounding countries. But I guess you wouldn’t be happy if you found out your neighbor was building nuclear silo’s in his back yard and letting off rockets at 1am just to test and make sure things were going according to plan. :(

Yes, this is a serious threat, but the FFT team do not see a massive nuclear threat in the short term. We do however see some major nuclear threats and the possibility of a major nuclear event that could play out somewhere down the track. But we will save that for a future edition of our   >> FFT NEWSLETTER <<

Two military analysts contacted us yesterday and presented some interesting facts regarding the nuclear arms topic. But this being 2009, they both agreed that we are going to slowly start entering the ‘Nuclear Age ‘. Something that was laughed off many years ago when predicted, now seems very likely. Especially in recent times as we keep hearing about increases in nuclear testing going on.

My missile is bigger than yours ?  Is that what it boils down too ?

But…if any button has been pushed lately it has been the Misdirection button. At a time the economy is about to take a big hit, with the imminent collapse of GM days away now, and the likelihood of a major bank failing, Obama must be loving this shift of focus back onto the North Korea Missile Saga.

With such topics on prime time every night now, everyone seems to have forgotten what has been happening on their home soil and the state of the economy. Everything in the last day or so, has shifted back on the swine flu, and also this North Korea nuclear missile topic. Strange coincidence huh?

Dollar Collapse – Will The Dollar Really Collapse?

If the thought of the US dollar crashing, or devaluing makes you laugh, or shake your head because its just a myth, think again!

I was listening to Ben Bernanke’s (Federal Reserve Chairman) Audio last week. Who in front of Congress  blatantly admitted to having no concern for the dollar. He stated his job was to stimulate the economy, (not to mention his own bank account!) Which means print off money and throw it around into the markets and other companies that don’t need it in the first place.

That is only part of the reason why the market has been heading north full steam ahead….

I must be the first one to say here, that if you go back hundreds of years, in any economy and see the consequences of such actions and its not rosey picture.

Let’s take for example South Africa, or what has happened in Zimbabwe recently. The consequences of such actions has already taken place there and many crazy pictures are showing up on the internet.  When you have a look at them (see below) It’s like some sort of bizarre scene out of a “Gods must be crazy” Film. But the only crazy people are the ones running this show. The governements and media.

In Zimbabwe things are drastic and their country has fully collapsed. Hyperinflation has riddled the country, destroying their currencies and the true gentle spirit nature of it’s people.

Check this picture out below. It’s is a picture of one of the locals racing off to the shops to errrr… buy a loaf of bread! Ah you forgot your wheelbarrow mate! “Oh you couldn’t afford one!…RIGHT!”

Jokes aside, this is a serious situation. It’s sad really!!!! I would not want to be living in a place like this, that’s for sure.

The scary thing is that the US and some other countries are about to undergo a massive currency correction, and valuation also. How much?, well….time will tell? But the effect will have dramatic consequences on many families, young and old, rich and poor!

THERE ARE BIG CHANGES COMING FOR MAJOR COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD. Zimbabwe is only one small portion, that has already felt these effects.

What will really matter is how this will affect people psychologically. I know that people are in trouble now financially but when people get DESPERATE, they can sometimes do DESPERATE things.

Anyway….Its kinda hard to explain what is going on without showing some charts. Here is one that will simply BLOW YOUR  MIND!.

Broker Forgets To Take His Medication!

I find it amazing that they let brokers and financial analysts live on CNBC without checking to see if they have taken their medication first. Below is a classic example . I had to watch it a few times, because I burst out in histerical laughter the first time. LOL.

I hardly ever switch on CNBC or bloomberg anymore, because I know the web of lies that these guys constantly spew forth. It’s a shame really but nothing surprises me anymore. Alot of crazy stuff happening at the moment, thats for sure.

With that being said, it’s still worth having a look at this live interview last night about what is going on in the market.

The interview is between Dennis Kneale over at CNBC, and some  very knowledgeable so called analysts. But the funny bits are between the host Dennis Kneale and the guy on the far right Jeff Macke, who like me is sick of what is going on and what is being reported.

Jeff Macke is clearly frustrated with Dennis Kneale and blows his top! Maybe he forgot to take his medication in the morning or maybe it could be that he is losing a significant amount of money in this crazy behaving market. But it sure is entertaining, to say the least.

I like the bit where Dennis Kneale is ordered to sit quiet like a child and listen! Television At its finest!

And the end of the interview will leave you in stiches, The Outro….

Dennis Kneale: A trader friend of mine says that these markets, they’re here to make you feel foolish. So congratulations. I think all –

Jeff Macke: I’m going to go with crazy. Yes or no?

Dennis Kneale: Thanks a lot.

Jeff Macke: I’m trying to keep playing.

Dennis Kneale: (Thanks other guests.)

Whatever the case, you will probably see my point to why I think news these days is more like entertainment. Actually I wouldn’t be suprised if all of these morons are payed actors from the Jerry Springer show.

Grab some popcorn and click the link, and hit play, its A++ entertainment!  VIDEO LINK HERE!

American Express – Green Around The Gills

The largest U.S. credit-card company by purchases AMEX, today reported it will cut about 6 percent of its workforce  or up to 4000 jobs, as cardholders squeezed by rising unemployment fail to pay debts.

To be honest, this problem has been going on for far too long. The coming credit card collapse is really going to take its toll on the economy in the next 6 to 12 months.

I have heard rumors that people are pre-emting the collapse of these big credit card companies, and are going out and spending up big, like it is their last day on earth. Ummmm that’s a great plan!! :( NOT!

I even know one or two people using credit cards to pay their mortgage fees. Thats about the worst situation you want to get yourself into. But with people losing jobs, and others in financial strain, I wonder how many other desperate people out there are taking the same desperate action. Hmmmm, makes one wonder!!!!

While Maxing out your credit card on the notion that you probably wont have to pay a penny back is not really an intelligent thing to do. Assuming you have been watching the tricks and tactics of the US government lately, who know what will happen, when this problem worsens.

The sad thing is that as some of the big CEO’s of these credit card companies watch the zeros being added to their monthly debt, people will keep spending using the almighty plastic money. Spending money that you dont have is a big no no. Commonsense really!!!

I find it a valuable lesson and a ritual for people with credit cards to bring them out shapen the sissors and hack away like there is no tomorrow. I guess I belong to the small percentage of people that believe – A good credit card is a dead credit card.

Shaking The Magic 8 Ball!

Lets Shake the magic 8 Ball. Since the end of 2007 things have sure played out very interesting.  Even though I have a fairly good grip on how the economy works, there sure are some extremes from that rule book that are playing out as you read this.

ITS QUITE SAD REALLY! But there is nothing that can be done, this will play out just as it was intended no matter how many times you Shake the magic 8 Ball .

If you go to our website or YOUTUBE CHANNEL HERE I have been getting many thanks for the information we post, and the accuracy of our forecasts. But people have always been asking how did you know about this. How do you know that the US would crash before it did.  Or how did you know the US economy would go into depression.

Well there is a fairly sophisticated explanation to my strategy, but I will give you the cut down explanation. No it doesn’t really involve a Shake of the magic 8 Ball

What happens today has an effect on tomorrows events.  Simple as that! We can spot trends and developments in any economy and with our knowledge push forward our ideas of what we will see happen down the track. I like to think we are helping people keep ahead of the crowd that is asleep to what is really going on out there, in layman’s terms THE TRUTH! not what the Governments and media spew forth day to day.

I know there are a select group of people that hate the information we bring. They call us haters of America, or pessimism addicts.

While I do remain pessimistic in the short term regarding the US and other economies, I do see things turning around down the track. But if people really understood what we see coming before that time, they would understand why we bring the messages that we do.

Lately we have been telling people to :-

Get Your Food Supplies Together! And don’t Talk about it too much! We see that in some areas that food and other supplies will be in very short supply. Trucks wont be moving as freely as they do now, and stock in shops will sell out faster than you can imagine. So we are saying watch for a supply / demand crisis coming at some stage down the track.

HUGE DEMAND & LIMITED SUPPLY  =  BIG MESS.

We have also being warning people that there are many more crisis’ to come the penny will drop as we will see people struggle and will experience the roughest ride yet this Autumn on into Winter.

It will all seem to be coming from all directions at once to give an already weakened economy the last nail is in the coffin!!

I remember several months ago we were warning of problems in the automotive industry. We warned GM or another big automotive company would go under.  That seems like it is playing out now or is very close to playing out. GM is in big trouble. Hmmm not good!

The National Automobile Dealers Association, an industry group, says the GM and Chrysler cuts combined could wipe out 100,000 jobs.

So many hard working Americans, slapped in the face again.

But the time is now, and as usual we say Buckle up!!!, this ride is going to get alot more rougher and tougher in  Autumn…

Hopefully this helps. Enough for now, will talk soon.
