Bad Boys! Bad Boys! Whatcha Gunna Do!…

{Insert Music}… “BAD BOYS!…..BAD BOYS!….Whatcha Gunna Do When They Come For You!”

Yes! you can run.. but you can’t hide, says freelance bounty hunter Duane Chapman (above photo) star of the television program “Dog the Bounty Hunter.”

On a normal sweaty work day, ‘Dog’ is seen chasing down those nasty knife wielding, gun slinging bad boys in town, who simply have a problem with the authorities or for some reason, skipped bail. But recently due to the economic downturn, his attention has been more focused on the white collar criminals. You know,  those cleanly shaven, suit wearing fellows that look important on the surface, but deep down are evil, and rotten to the core!

Dog’s job is to sniff out these ‘Madoff – like‘ Characters and smoke them out of their rat holes. Not the easiest job in the world Dog admits, but in a recent interview he stated, “These guys fail to escape the law due to a lack of preparation for the rigors of life on the lam”

Take for example Samuel Israel, 49, convicted of running a $400 million Ponzi scheme at hedge-fund firm Bayou Group LLC, and Schrenker, 38, accused of fraud as president of Heritage Wealth Management Inc., were captured within a month of fleeing.

Dog added, “White-collar fugitives often run out of money or lack the mental sturdiness to elude police. There are different qualities in white-collar guys than street thugs,” Chapman said. “A criminal’s life has nothing but ups and downs, whereas a white-collar criminal has never seen the dark side, so when he enters that realm, he is lost.”

As the economy dwindles, and the truth crusades continue, we continue to see many white collar criminals who flew under the radar, hunted down and bought to justice in the next 12 – 24 months. Those that have become victims of their own legend and illegal operations, will realize they are about to be caught and try drastic things to evade the law & authorities. In order to completely ‘disappear’ from the radar they will, fake their death, seek refuge with family or heavily disguise themselves to elude authorities and investigations.

According to David Turner, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service. Some 3,300 warrants are outstanding for white- collar crimes or crimes related to the subprime meltdown, according to William Sorukas, chief inspector for domestic investigations for the service.

The cages are open, the sniffer dogs are on the prowl for you, so keep running boys…. It’s only a matter of time.

WHATCHA, WHATCHA, WHATCHA GUNNA DOOO!…….
