Cybercrime Investigation
Leading analysts have reported an increase in cybercrime as computer-literate criminals in poorer countries turn their hand to electronic scams.
Cybercrime Investigation squads are now meant to be preying on these scams left right and center as more and more evidence seems to suggest these guys are working round the clock.
Our company has actually fallen victim to these thieving low life’s, as we donated money to the Victorian Bushfire appeal here in Australia, only to find out 4 weeks down the track we were giving our money to a group of 18 year old asians in a backyard shed….NOT GOOD! Hopefully karma catches up with them…
I guess nowadays there are so many people on places like facebook, twitter, myspace etc and people are trusting others just as they were sitting next to them at school. But those that have fallen victim to this must realize that no one can be trusted!
Our warning to some of our members is that there are alot of ‘Criminals out there can take advantage of cybercrime opportunities, and the current global recession will likely increase this trend still further!
I understand that people are out of work, and people have bills and mortgages to pay…but these criminals know this on a level that is empathetic to the extremes and know what triggers you to get involved with these scams in the first place.
As the economic conditions worsen, and more people lose their jobs, we see this cybercrime wave become even more of a problem down the track.
The greasy, slimy, illegitimate scumbags can make themselves out to be quite professional and its not just a case of looking for scam type web pages. They have access to new technology and other tools in cyberspace, that can only magnify their presence.
Those that have lost jobs and are looking for opportunities online for extra income must be extremely careful. A few weeks ago we wrote and article about LEGITIMATE ONLINE JOBS and how to make money in a RECESSION and the non scam type ways on how to make money in any economic environment. It really is easy if you know how, without have to worry about getting scammed out of your money.
Keep those eyes peeled, there are many scammers out there highly skilled waiting to prey on your night and day and we do see this Cybercrime wave intensifying over the next couple of years. Just a heads up.
