Tremendous’ Distress in Commercial Real Estate. Today when one of the head hunchos of RXR Realty was interviewed.
We have been talking about this for many months and it seems like they are again hiding the real truth from the people out there. But the real question is for how long??
We think that if they keep this hidden for too long it could turn into the next big freight train.
When you look at the commercial real estate market right now, “there is a tremendous amount of distress that is not really visible yet,” Rechler said.
Today “the blood is really in the boardroom behind closed doors where people are negotiating to solve problems,” he said.
“This used to be the blood on the streets” in the commercial real estate market, Rechler said, adding, “this happened quickly,” he said.
But today it’s not just about the debt, “they actually have to inject equity,” Rechler said.
If you look at the CMBS (commercial mortgage-backed securities) over the next five years, “about 65 percent of the debt” will be maturing. “You can’t replace the same amount of debt in today’s market with the amount of debt that is maturing—its going to need more equity,” he concluded.
We feel this is an important topic to bring up, and is sort of a monster hiding in the closet. We have touched on this in our previous newsletters…. and we suspect this problem has not just simply gone away.
Well it sure was an interesting week. It never ceases to amaze me how the sheeple of today walk around and listen to the creatons that get on TV and go on about how good things are. I am not a doomster, as some call me. I am more a realist…and I dont see anything wrong with that.
Traders today saw that in the wake of Europes stress tests, only 7 out of the 91 banks failed the test. YES! of course they did!. Who or what elitist idiot made up the word “stress test” and what does it mean really?
If the numbers are accurate (which they arent of course) then why is the economy struggling, why are my neighbors out of work, yada, yada…u know the story.
You need to watch the market over the next 2 months. You are going to see some dramatic effects from this. Then you know what is coming. YES…. it is exactly what was happening in 2007 when we were topping out on the market. Analysts getting photos taken in the ferrari’s saying the boom is here to stay….. people telling their friends on the street what stocks to jump in….and look what happened in 2008.
My friends… we are seeing a repeat of this.. yes. I would go so far as to say, the first warning shot has been fired. There will be a series of about 3 shots, but I would say this is the first one…before the inevitable. This bullishness is saying to me to be cautious. I do infact see reality set in, but it wont be more until the fall of this year.
For now watch the same old chin wagers trick their customers to buying up this fake ass market. God help those that do. It is going to be a blood bath on the equities market very soon….probably more like a grinding down, but the baby boomers that had their lifesaving account wiped out in the crash of 08 aint seen nothing yet!
Just a warning, take it or leave it, but I know that in all my business life and personally I have never seen things like this.

2009 was saved by the governments hardcore stimulus, bragging, lying, cheating. But can their dirty tricks work at th end of 2010?
It is a really good question. The manipulation at the moment is at all time highs. Each day I sit behind my desk and I actually laugh out loud as I see the fake bids flooding the market, only to be taken out as soon as the other suckers take up their positions. It is almost like teasing a bug on the wall in the kitchen right before you get the bug spray out, and send him to his eternal death.
People I still talk to have their head in the sand. My own father, who I class as being intelligent doesnt even get it. Although he could be captain of the skeptics society and its getting on in age. I do not even bother talking to him about this anymore, as he carries the same characteristics of many others that dont want to listen to the truth. Oh well…you cant win them all I guess.
Anyway, it has been a LOOOONG time since I posted a audio / video after getting hounded I have covered what we are looking at in the next 12 months, where people are financially and psychologically and what could happen.
If you have lots of money invested in the market as you read this, i urge you to watch the video below. It will give you a few ideas on what is coming and how you can actually do well and profit when the people start panicing!! I belive that panicing will do nothing for you. The keyword here is PREPARATION!!! Not having all your eggs in one basket, and knowing where the safety is will give you much more advantage over all the others with their head in the sand.
