Since the collapse of General Motors, many people have written off this industry and simply feel that there is no hope left. Have a look at the chart of GM motors and you might be lead to believe the same thing.

As a trader, there was a lot of money to be made on the short side of this chart, I MEAN boatloads! But talking to my friends who are exceptionally good traders, most of them did not feel comfortable profiting from its demise. They obviously had their reasons but I respeceted their choice about having a good conscious on the mater.

Although there is a black cloud still hanging over the situation, we are happy to bring you some positive news regarding the events of the last few months. The collapse of this industry is a horrible event and it has cost many people their jobs, pensions and caused much stress on the whole automotive industry. But, we remain very positive that things will indeed pick up sooner than you think.

YES! the events unfolding lately with this credit crisis is horrible, and it will probably linger on for sometime to come. Like a bad hangover from a big night out. But we feel VERY positive about the development coming down the track, and the new vehicles that will replace the your average car soon.

We feel that this auto industry downfall will open the doors for many new, weird, and unknown types of transportation down the track. In fact its already happening on a smaller scale. More significant changes will be seen in the next decade, that’s for sure. The changes coming, are going to make cars of today look like Wild West Wagons, you might see in an old badly acted western movie.

The lives of many people are going to benefit from the changes we see coming down the track.

Remember back in the early 1900s, most people got around by horse and train.  Then came the car.  Over 20-30 years it completely replaced the horse and train altogether. We see a revolution in the automotive  industry that will surprise many people and this transformation in many ways will bring on massive changes for many people quickly.

The collapse of the auto industry is NOT A BAD THING!.  In fact we see it as totally the opposite.  The price of oil and gas has now got many people thinking outside the box with solar cars, cars that operate on water,  and some other, surprising things in the works. This new technology cannot be suppressed by those in charge of the “powers that be” if you want to call them that.

This is an exciting time in most of our lifetimes, we will see this come to pass, and very exciting things coming in the next decade, all of which start soon.

It seems that most people have given up on this giant. But you have to remember that the reason that this company has survived, is due to it’s fight to – ‘never giving up’. So it will be interesting to see what happens to GM from here.

We have released a report for our members a week ago, but due to it’s importance we have now made this report available to the general public and especially to those that visit our news blog.

I’m sure you will find it interesting. Feel free to download this document below.

I’m Pushing The Red Button, Says N.Korea!

I’m Pushing The Red Button, Says N.Korea!

Nowadays when you turn the news off for 24 hours or so, and come back World War III is starting. Apparently!?  The last few years North Korea have obviously been flexing its muscle, with their finger on the BIG RED BUTTON, saying “Just Try Me!! We are ready and waiting!” But they seemed to have step it up a notch in the last few days.

Whether you have your own opinion on the matter, the testing & firing of missiles hasn’t gone down well with the U.S. and other surrounding countries. But I guess you wouldn’t be happy if you found out your neighbor was building nuclear silo’s in his back yard and letting off rockets at 1am just to test and make sure things were going according to plan. :(

Yes, this is a serious threat, but the FFT team do not see a massive nuclear threat in the short term. We do however see some major nuclear threats and the possibility of a major nuclear event that could play out somewhere down the track. But we will save that for a future edition of our   >> FFT NEWSLETTER <<

Two military analysts contacted us yesterday and presented some interesting facts regarding the nuclear arms topic. But this being 2009, they both agreed that we are going to slowly start entering the ‘Nuclear Age ‘. Something that was laughed off many years ago when predicted, now seems very likely. Especially in recent times as we keep hearing about increases in nuclear testing going on.

My missile is bigger than yours ?  Is that what it boils down too ?

But…if any button has been pushed lately it has been the Misdirection button. At a time the economy is about to take a big hit, with the imminent collapse of GM days away now, and the likelihood of a major bank failing, Obama must be loving this shift of focus back onto the North Korea Missile Saga.

With such topics on prime time every night now, everyone seems to have forgotten what has been happening on their home soil and the state of the economy. Everything in the last day or so, has shifted back on the swine flu, and also this North Korea nuclear missile topic. Strange coincidence huh?
